Autumn Favourites

Toffee apples, sparklers, scented candles, pumpkin spice lattes, crisp evenings, scarefest, the smell of bonfires, treacle toffee, pie & peas… shall I go on?! It’s the MOST wonderful time of the year; and to celebrate, I obviously had to do a little autumnal haul. Here are the things I’m absolutely loving this season.

Bailey’s Pumpkin Spice – Who doesn’t love Bailey’s? It really is one of the best things about this time of the year. The orange flavour is a firm favourite for Christmas time, but this Pumpkin Spice edition really is something special. Brought out for the first time last year, it’s back for the season twisted with all the gorgeously aromatic spices that are added to a traditional pumpkin pie. No pumpkin flavour, incase you were worried – nope, just deliciously warming spice.

Bettys Marzipan and Sponge Apples – Ah everyones favourite tearoom never lets us down for seasonal offerings. These decadent marzipan sponge apples are such a treat and will also look gorgeous on your dessert table (halloween & bonfire night are the perfect excuse to throw a party). I’m SO excited to see what they are offering for Christmas this year, I always go crazy on the festive offerings at Bettys.

How to be an Overnight Success: Maria Hatzistefanis – The fashionista founder of Rodial talks to us about how she built up her hugely successful skincare & makeup brand, starting out completely from scratch in her bedroom. Part story, part self-help it’s really not what you expect from the title (in a really good way). A beautifully illustrated cover, and pages and pages of inspiration for fashion & beauty loving women everywhere.

DW Home Caramel Pumpkin Scented Candle – Oh this smell… OH this smell… Seriously, it’s incredible. More of a gourmand scent, it’s one of the strongest scented candles I’ve ever owned. The whole room smells of it even before it’s lit! It really is gorgeous, I wish it was acceptable to burn this scent the whole year round. A brand I’ll be purchasing a lot more from.

The White Company Winter Home Spray* & Wild Rhubarb Signature Scented Candle* – Those of you not familiar with The White Company Winter scent, where have you been?! It’s a must in your home for Christmas, it epitomises the entire season – it’s so beautiful and exciting. I always use the diffuser around about late October time, but this year I treat myself to the home spray too. The Wild Rhubarb candle is an autumnal limited edition offering, that smells (to me) of crisp and crunchy leaves, sweet red apples, and (obviously) rhubarb. Definitely an autumn scent as oppose to late winter; but absolutely gorgeous nonetheless.
