Nars Body Glow

This is the perfect holiday staple for enhancing and perfecting your tan this summer. Nars Body Glow has been an iconic product for years, and it’s not hard to see why.

Not to be confused with a fake tan, this beautifully scented oil will give you a golden glow and a subtle shimmer, ideal for those long summer nights. It will really smooth, even out, and complement your tan. The oil is created with an infusion of pure coconut extract and the bud of the tiare flower, combined this produces a nutritious oil for the skin and a scent that perfectly resembles a tropical getaway.

The oil solidifies in the bottle until it makes contact with the skin, however this can easily be rectified by simply running the product under a warm tap for a few seconds – this is actually the sign of a high quality product, so you know you’re getting your moneys worth. It also lasts such a long time, my current bottle has got me through my past two holidays and will be coming with me on my next one. A little goes a long way.

My only piece of advice is to take a little care when pairing this with white clothing, however as long as you wait 5 – 10 minutes before getting dressed, you should be fine. I find I get the best results when I apply this to areas of the skin that would naturally catch the light, so the shoulders, décolletage and the front of my shins for example. The hydrating effects of this stuff are just wonderful; my skin feels and smells like I’ve spent the day at an exotic spa and you could even get away with not wearing any perfume – the scent is that alluring.
