I’ve always had a fascination with dressing tables, even when I was a child, I’d save all my empty bath product bottles – any posh paper carrier bags I could beg or steal, and my never ending collection of bath pearls (do you remember those?) and display them all out like I was running a little apothecary style boutique in my bedroom. Things really haven’t changed that much, just the products on display…
Our bedroom is my favourite room in my house – and I love to surround myself with things that bring me joy – one of these things just so happens to be makeup. I’ve recently updated my dressing table, a bit of a Spring “glow up”m if you will. One of my little pleasures in life is to just sit down in my dressing table chair, and slowly get ready for an evening out, or sit in my dressing gown on a Saturday morning playing with all my new makeup bits I acquired… just as I used to do as a child.
