A Spring Makeup Bag Top Up

Ah the good old black and white payday box of dreams. It’s been a while. Here’s what I’ve been topping up this month…

Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm – Does exactly what it says. I thought it made me look really chalky at first, but it just needs a few minutes to settle. I could maybe have gone a shade up (I went for 1) but then it starts to get quite yellow. A really good product, worth the money. Just remember to hydrate your skin first.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo – Don’t think I’d go back to using any other dry shampoo now. No white cast left, smells amazing, and actually makes my hair feel clean. Perfect for after a workout.

Alpha H Liquid Gold – I’ve used this product for years. It perfects my skin. I use it ahead of any special events, to make sure my skin has the ideal base for my makeup.

Haus Labs Glass Glassy Lip and Cheek Stick – I got the shade hibiscus. The shade is stunning, and the formula blends like a dream. But, for £30 I was disappointed in how much product you actually get. Especially as it’s a sheer formula (which I wanted) but, it means you need to use more for colour build up.

Lawless Lip Plumping Gloss – I got the shade Daisy Pink, and it’s a really stunning colour – almost a bubblegum pink. I’d use this more for day to day wear, rather than an evening out. Perfect for spring, and the plumping sensation isn’t annoying and stingy, like others can be.

Makeup by Mario Moistureglow Lip Serum – A beautiful balm, this is the shade Pink Glow. Really hydrating, and glides on like a dream. I did want more colour payoff though (maybe it’s just this shade for me). I also think there are other similar products out there for less money.

Rare Beauty Silky Touch Highlighter – Do I need to say anything about this? This is my third purchase of this highlighter now. Glides on, looks like glass on the skin, and the shade is really unique. The best highlighter on the market right now, in my opinion.

Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar – I have a love hate relationship with Kayali perfumes. Some I find can smell quite immature, but not this one. A beautiful grown up gourmand, that does actually last on the skin.

Nars Light Reflecting Eye Brightener – LOVE this. Wow. I got the lightest shade. It’s a light reflecting concealer that’s made for the under eyes, but I do use it on other areas of my skin too. A very underrated product that I don’t see talked about enough.
