The Row Medium N/S Park Tote

The Row mania got me… and it got me bad. It’s not hard to see why though, once you experience their designs for yourself, the addiction can easily take hold! I’ve never experienced leather like I have on The Row bags, and the designs are so simple and classic, yet so so well thought out. I’d actually now quite happily swap my entire handbag collection for The Row designs only – that’s how much I love the brand right now.

Logos are… bothering me – even the smallest hint of one is now giving me “the ick”, and I’m now craving timeless classics, that will last and last, and don’t scream anything – except a well put together outfit. I’m going to make this post nice and simple, exactly like the bag – because there’s only so much you can say about a design twice – and given that I’ve already reviewed its sister style, here – there’s probably no need to go on with war and peace in this post too.

It comes in atΒ 13 x 11 x 6 inches, and fits over the shoulder perfectly. It’s no evening bag – but a restaurant for a nice meal, yes. A day shopping, yes. Office – if you wish… but I think it’s a bit too special for that – it also probably wouldn’t fit too many laptop sizes in. Mine holds my iPad nicely, but I wouldn’t want to put a MacBook in there, it would likely fit (albeit show at the top), but it would mess with the shape of the bag, and it’s too beautiful for that. Structure wise, it stands up on its own, and doesn’t really need an insert – the gorgeous grained calfskin is pretty thick – but that being said, I want this as a lasting piece, so I have bought an insert for mine – just to make sure it doesn’t slouch too much, though one could argue, that’s what gives these bags that special appeal – they are after all designed to get better with time.

Would I want to replace this one if I ever lost it? In a heartbeat, yes. In fact, could I only own one bag… I think… I really do think, this would probably be my choice.
