Here’s a little round up of some summer beauty bits I’ve been enjoying recently…
Bread Beauty Hair Oil – Ummmm okay, this stuff is GOOD! It’s like a lip gloss for your hair! Love the packaging, love the name, love the product. Will buy on repeat. Obsessed with this brand.
Gisou Hair Perfume – Love this stuff, and think I’m on my third bottle already! It’s a really light, fresh, floral scent that just makes you feel really clean and put together. I even use this as my body perfume on really warm days, when I don’t want anything too heavy.
Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid – This is nice, but I’m not sure I’d purchase it again. It’s a decent product, but I just don’t feel that I really need it in my collection. I use it under makeup, as a primer, and whilst I enjoy it, and think it works well – it doesn’t particularly add anything new to my beauty routine that I didn’t already have.
Laneige Lip Masks – The original lip mask, I can’t stop trying all the different flavours! My go to this summer is vanilla, and bon bon – how gorgeous is that pink colour?! I’m eyeing up the chocolate one for the autumn season. I put these on before bed, and they hydrate my lips all night long.
Lemme Sea Sea Moss Liquid Drops – I’m not sure on these, to be honest… I probably haven’t used them long enough to see a difference, but, the blunt truth is that right now, I don’t see one. I’ve used the whole bottle. My other vitamin drops, I saw a difference when taking them after maybe 3 – 5 days – but maybe sea moss is different. That being said, I’m not struck on the taste either. Sea moss is a difficult one, as it is a vile taste, so there’s not much you can do with it, and whilst they’ve tried to mask it, I couldn’t help but just feel it tasted like artificial vanilla plastic, with a hint of sea salt. I don’t think I’ll re purchase, unfortunately.
Rhode Lip Balm – Okay, this stuff is good! I feel that the scent is a little artificial, but the actual balm is very good, and worth the price point. I’m a fan of the sleek packaging too, it really does feel like a premium product.
Summer Fridays Tinted Lip Butter – These are really lovely lip balms, with a generous offering. I’d buy these again and again, and think they are a really welcome addition to the beauty industry. I usually go for the vanilla (un tinted) option, but since this new pink tint shade came out, I’ve been a little obsessed – the slightest tint, but it just really elevates your lips, for that “no makeup, makeup” look.
