What’s New in my Makeup Bag This Month

Fenty Beauty Brushes – Okay, where have I been with these?! They’re so pretty, and good quality too! Only problem is… I now don’t want to use them. As far as makeup brushes go though, I rate these. Not sure why it’s taken me so long to show an interest in them.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream – Oh. My. God. I’m not joking, I think this is the best moisturiser, I have ever used. It’s pricey, but it’s one of the few skincare products I will actually say is worth every penny. If this ever gets discontinued, I will lose my mind. It makes my skin just look incredible, and really gives me confidence to go out without makeup on. Obsessed. OBSESSED.

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder in Cherry Blossom Cake – This is nice you know! Really nice. I’d never have thought to go for a pink toned setting powder, but it weirdly works. I only use it under eye, but it brightens like no other, and also feels incredibly luxurious. It has this weirdly lovely cinnamon scent, which I know some people are not keen on… but I can’t get enough of it. Would repurchase without hesitation.

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream – Okay. This is nice, but is it life changing? No. It performs as you’d expect for the price point, but that being said, I do think there are better options to spend your money on. Is it good? Yes. Is it amazing? No. Β 10 / 10 for packaging though. I’m going to keep this forever and maybe re fill it with another favourite, that doesn’t have such great packaging.

Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Rose Quartz – I love the contour shades in the Match Stix, and given the lovely results I had with the pink Huda setting powder, I though this may be a good addition to my makeup bag, and I was right. Colour correcting heaven, another one I’ll definitely be buying again. Creamy, smooth, and works extremely well into the skin. Good, good stuff.
