The Skincare and Haircare Products I’m Loving Right Now

Mac Hyperreal SkinCanvas Balm and Serum & Moisturiser Brush – This is a really, really good primer – it’s early days as it’s a newer release, but I’m very impressed so far – I feel like my makeup just grips to it, and it’s really comfortable to wear too. The brush, not really something you need, but a real treat to apply skincare products with, if that’s your thing!

Gisou Hair Oil and Hair Mask – In love with these two, and they’ve really helped take good care of my hair this year so far. Beautifully scented, and I genuinely feel that they’ve made a difference to the overall health and appearance of my hair. Will 100% be repurchasing.

Ouai Texturising Hair Spray – This is the best hair texturiser I’ve tried – and I’ve tried a few… a great smell, doesn’t leave nasty residue, and actually does what it says it will!

Sam McKnight Cool Girl Texture Mist – A close second to Ouai here. I’d say this one is lighter, and gives a more natural effect – really good for those hair undone days, whereas the Ouai option – that’s your going all out glam product to reach for.

Marvis Toothpaste – So stupidly overpriced for toothpaste, BUT… I can’t deny that these have been a game changer for me. Brushing my teeth is just a chore, it always has been, but with the Marvis toothpaste, I actually can’t wait to brush them – and find myself sometimes going in three times a day because I just really enjoy the experience. Orange blossom and Jasmin Mint are my favourites. I also have to say, nothing else makes my mouth feel as clean as these do.

Fenty Skin Body Butta – The. Smell. Of. This. Oh the smell – this stuff is beautiful, really beautiful! It’s luxuriously thick, doesn’t pill (like the Body Shop butters do on me), and looks incredible on my dressing table too. I also love that they do refillable packaging on this one – please don’t ever stop making this, Rihanna!

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Night Treatment – I don’t care that it seems to be the “in” brand on TikTok right now, I’ve been using their stuff pretty much since it came out (devastated they discontinued the banana moisturiser), and way before it became a hype product. This is a close second to the banana moisturiser for me, and it’s something I will be repurchasing.

Fresh Beauty Rose Petal Soft Lip Cream – Forget the lip mask hype, this is all you need. Beautifully scented, lovely, thick and hydrating, and has made a visible difference to the comfort levels of my lips this winter. Love love love.

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Perfume – Oh my goodness, I don’t know what I’ll do if this ever stops being a thing. I’d literally bathe in it if I could! It’s a hair perfume, simple as that – but the smell is to DIE for.

Glossier Futuredew – I do think some of the Glossier products are a bit gimmicky, and not all are worth the hype (more so the makeup products), but this – this is! It’s worth the hype, and then worth the hype again! Moisturising on my skin, but also makes my skin look beautiful and glowy at the same time. Perfect for no makeup days.

Fresh Beauty Vitamin Nectar Glow Water – I think this would be my ultimate dessert island product. I won’t lie, the name makes it sound absolutely useless, but actually, that couldn’t be further from the truth. A lot of hydrating mists are unnecessary I believe, but this one isn’t. I use it as an under makeup primer, an over makeup hydrator, a skin protectant on no makeup days, a morning pick me up treat, and I keep a mini one in my bag to refresh my makeup when I’m out and about. Such an underrated product.
