Whatever your opinion of the Kardashians, there’s no denying that the Skims brand is really, really good. Pricey, yes – but the quality is amazing, and in my opinion, they are by far the best loungewear offering on the market. I do have a bit of a Skims obsession, I won’t lie, and I’ve been building my collection up over the past two years, trying to buy a piece a month, to have a long lasting, timeless loungewear and wardrobe staple collection. From someone who has tried a lot of the brand, here are my top picks:
Cozy Knit Robe – I have four of these, two short, two long, in cream and black. I use the long ones with the tie belt removed, as duster style cardigans to wear out and about, and the shorter ones I use as actual robes. These are expensive, and it took me a long time to build up this collection – they’re one of the brands staples, and will always be available, so don’t feel the need to rush purchase these – but they’ve really lasted the test of time – and as the name suggests, are literally the “cosiest” pieces of clothing I’ve ever worn.
Cozy Knit Zip Up Hoodies and Joggers – Pretty much what I said above… amazing quality, and comfort at its finest. I use these for travelling, or lounging at home. Not something I’d wear out day to day – at least not together – the hoodies on their own I do, but together they are definitely more loungewear / pyjama style.
Cozy Knit Beanie – A simple, stylish, classic, soft and gorgeously warm hat. I own mine in black, but I am contemplating a cream purchase too.
Naked Scoop and Naked Plunge Bras – I kid you not, these are the NICEST, most comfortable, high quality bras I’ve ever owned. I really hope Skims is here to stay forever, because I’d be lost without these, and I don’t buy any other underwear brand now.
Fits Everybody Scoop Neck Bra’s and Panties – I don’t use these bras for going out in, but they are gorgeous for lounging at home, or working out in.
Fits Everybody Crew Neck Long Sleeve Dress – The dress of dreams – literally. If I could only ever own one dress, it would be this one… but my goodness, do make sure you size up! Worth it though, as it’s ridiculously flattering.
Fits Everybody Long Sleeve T Shirt – Not worth it in the lighter colours, in my opinion, as they can be quite see through, but in the dark colours – utter perfection, and again, so so flattering.
Cozy Knit Blankets – I have the black and grey ones at the moment, one in my bedroom and one on my desk chair. I got both in their annual Black Friday sales, one in 2021, one in 2022. I have the cream colour on my wish list, but it will be a while yet – they aren’t cheap…
Soft Lounge Robe – Again, I have these in both white and black, and grey is next on my list. The softest, comfiest robes I’ve EVER owned, and the way they drape is extremely flattering. The cozy knit robes are perfect for winter, these are perfect for summer.
