Now I’m not usually one for eyeing up new collections – I can’t bloody afford it! – but for some reason late on last year, I found myself having a scroll through of the Dior 2022 Cruise Collection. I think it was all those gorgeous nude tones that reeled me in… I had absolutely no plans to purchase anything, but then oh… oh my… I noticed the new zodiac scarf and I just knew it was a now or never buy. I never frivolously spend on a spur of the moment, but Dior, zodiac, constellations and that pink hue, I had to. I already knew it was a purchase I’d treasure forever, and I think I’ve already worn it at least 15 times! Seriously… Never ever have I found a more “me” scarf before.
It’s the 90 x 90 cm option – and is absolutely huge by the way – which I wanted, as I purchased it to primarily wear on my head, though there are so many ways it can be worn, even just as a scarf on its own to glam up an all black outfit. The detailing on it is also incredible, I can only imagine how long the design and creation must have taken – this is one of those items where actually, I can see why it’s at the pricier end of the scale. It’s seriously stunning – seriously; and for once, worth the investment for a silk scarf I believe. Twillys are such a waste of money, and a lot for what they are – but this wasn’t too much more and is about 20 times the size of one of those.
