Exam season wiped me out, seriously. I don’t think I’ve ever been so burnt out in my life! It’s done now, but wow was it a challenge. After all that, there was only one thing for it – the pamper of all pampers. I purchased the Melissas Wardrobe beauty edit box when it first released, and my god is it good… soooo, it was time for a top up, but, this time I added a few of my own favourites too. My skin has been horrendously dry this past month or so, thanks to a combination of central heating and cold weather, and it seemed like nothing was helping; but a session of derma planing and some intense treats from my new pamper box, really helped.
I recently purchased the new bigger neom diffuser for our living room, and it came with the scent to make you happy oil – and my goodness how gorgeous! Because I have a dog, I can’t actually use this one in the house, as it contains some essential oils that aren’t the best for pets – so it’s my new go to car scent. Very extra, but I have the mini neom diffuser in my car, and wow does this oil make car journeys a joy!
Book wise – as if I needed any more – I kept seeing the Wintering book pop up on my Amazon suggested purchases… if you haven’t already guessed, it’s very much about seasons, particularly the colder ones; and is just so up my street. Don’t be put off by the “difficult times” reference on the front cover, as I nearly was – don’t get me wrong, self help books are fab, but that wasn’t really what I was looking for at the moment; instead, this is like settling down with a blanket and a really indulgent, long, warm cup of your favourite hot chocolate, and a hug from your mum. Gorgeous reading – I’d highly recommend.
