I’m getting a teeny bit obsessed with these La Collection PrivΓ©e Dior perfumes, but for good reason, they really are some of the best fragrances on the market right now. Given it’s my favourite flower, I’m a huge sucker for a jasmine scent, and I’ve been on the hunt for a really good one for some time now – and good old Dior – they didn’t disappoint.
Fruity floral notes such as apricot, peach, jasmine (obviously) and osmanthus intermingle with bergamot and white musk, and a little underlying vanilla; to give a gorgeous summer explosion. Every time I put this on, my boyfriend comments that I smell of “holidays”. Not predominantly jasmine, the opening is very apricot – but once it dries down – it is a jasmine scent. Projection is good, but not too heavy… it is a summer scent after all – and longevity is also good, but I wouldn’t say amazing; which actually, is a little disappointing for the price – however the scent is that gorgeous and unique, it won me over anyway.
Would I buy it again? Yes. I haven’t found any jasmine scent as lovely and different as this one, and for that reason – it will be a repeat purchase, even though I do wish it were just a little more long lasting…
