Wedding Favour Tasting

After having to move our wedding twice, I’d started losing all interest in planning – as sad as that is to say – however, after now settling on 2022; and finally feeling the hope of life returning back to some kind of normal… my wedding planning interest and excitement is slowly coming back; and what better way to feed that excitement, than with lots of tasty food and wine.

I’m guessing if you’re reading this post, you too are more than likely planning a wedding. Favours was one of the first things I thought about to be honest, as every time I go to someone else’s wedding – I find that one of the most magical parts – they’re just so personal and unique to each couple and serve as a gorgeous memory of that special day.

I’m still undecided on ours – I want something that will reflect my own taste and personality, and something really pretty and unique; but I also can’t decide if I want something edible, or a keepsake.

I’ve recently been looking at gorgeous little bottles of rose, as well as floral brownies, macarons, and little chocolate boxes – but the possibilities are just endless really. I’m kind of torn between offering something edible or not, because there will be LOTS of food throughout the whole day… so will they go to waste? However there are so many personal options you can create with food, so I just really don’t know.

I have so, so many ideas, and obviously I can’t use every single one, so I’m thinking of putting together a blog post of ideas which other brides could use; then I could maybe live out my wedding favour dreams through 50 other brides and be able to just settle on one idea for myself, hey?
