These are honestly, the most comfortable heels I have ever worn. Obviously right now, we’re mid lockdown, and these aren’t getting much wear – but I have a pair for my wedding shoes, and honestly, they are as comfortable as you’re going to get in a pair of heels. They’re also exceptionally well made; and so after having a bit of a spring clean of my clothes, and selling quite a few old bits on, I was able to treat myself to this lovely nude pink shade, obviously inspired by Spring!
The BB’s are an absolute classic – and I’d say a staple shoe. They come in so many different heel heights, and can also be purchased in suede, patent or plain leather; although in my opinion, it’s the suede finish that really makes these special. I’m not going to make a meal out of writing about a pair of shoes – but they are a shoe I’d recommend if you’re wanting to invest in a special pair. The heel placement I think is what makes them so comfortable, but it’s also very clever in the way it makes the style look timeless, too. I did used to think that these looked just the same as every other court heel out there, but now I’m a lot more familiar with the shoe, I can see how well designed they are, and how put together they make an outfit look.
Don’t worry about going for the lighter colours either, I’d love to get a light grey pair next – and there are so many restoration services on the market now, incase you do end up getting caught out in them. I know with my wedding shoes (which I plan on wearing long after the wedding too) I was initially hesitant about ruining them – but that’s the thing with an investment shoe they’re made to last; and they won’t ruin, as you can just get them professionally cleaned.
I adore this style of shoe, and the dream would be to own a pair in every colour… but for now, I’ll be fawning over these beauties.
