My Perfume Collection

It’s been a good while since I did a collective perfume collection post, so I thought the downtime between Christmas and the new year, would be the perfect time to freshen things up on the blog. This is my most up to date collection, and includes all of my absolute favourites.

Christian Dior La Colle Noire

A stunning, very unique rose offering that smells like no other. A bottle will last you forever, as you only need one or two spritzes of this. Whenever I wear this I always feel really elegant and put together – and I also love how unique it is too.

Le Labo Baie 19

I think Le Labo fragrances are my favourite. I got this one as it was described as that “after rain” scent, and I do find its the closest I’ve found so far. A really, really lovely and unique scent that lasts well and is perfect for any time of the year, other than mid winter I’d say. Works extremely well as a spring / summer / autumn offering.

Le Labo Santal 33

Again, really different – although it is gaining in popularity now – and ideal for autumn / winter. It’s a spicy, intoxicating blend that people will either love, or hate. For me, it’s love – and I’ll always repurchase this.

Malin & Goetz Strawberry

I got this because it reminds me of gardening! It does smell like strawberries, but not in that teenage-pop way. It’s like fresh from the vine strawberry and encapsulates a fresh spring day pottering around your garden. Not the longest lasting, but all the same, it’s very special.

Aerin Amber Musk

Oh I LOVE this, but my gosh I wish it lasted longer. I’d literally drown myself in the stuff if I could. Again, very seasonal, either spring or autumn I’d say; it’s a really whimsical, fresh and girly scent, but it just doesn’t last as long as it should for the price tag.

Aerin Hibiscus Palm

Now this one does last – and it’s equally as beautiful. Very summer-esque and wouldn’t really work in the winter. I once saw it described as a “rich woman on holiday in the Bahamas” and that really does sum it up well. Gorgeous stuff.

Byredo Mojave Ghost

Ah this is going to be my wedding perfume! Mojave Ghost is unlike any scent I’ve tried before, probably one of the reasons I love it so much. I love anything that is unique to me – and obviously there will be so many other people who wear this gorgeous scent – but I don’t know anyone who is part of my circle, that wears it, nor have I experienced it on any other people I’ve come across before. It’s woody, it’s fresh, it’s quite autumnal (yet would strangely work for any season), it’s light – yet has a major impact, it’s very pretty, and it completely stands out from the crowd.

Jo Malone Jasmine Sambac

Ah Jasmine Sambac! Jasmine is my favourite flower, and one of the scents that’s the most special to me. Trust me when I say I’ve tried nearly every jasmine fragrance offering there is, and this is by far the one that replicates the true scent the best. It reminds me of long, lazy summers sprawled out in golden fields. It also lasts well too, something I don’t often find with floral offerings of any kind.

Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc

This epitomises everything about the summer! It has that sun kissed skin scent to it that you get towards the end of the day, mixed with hints of coconut and exotic florals. A beautiful holiday scent, that I just cant get enough of.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre

A stunning creamy, fruity, fizzy floral; but in a really sophisticated way. It’s one of my favourites, so much so, I have it in both the perfume version, body spray, and hair perfume. It also helps that the packaging is stunning too. It’s pretty much the summer version of Chance and is actually quite similar to Mojave Ghost – which may explain why I like it so much.

Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay

Such a classic. Fresh, clean, floral and sparkling. Makes an impression, but is also inoffensive. Works for both night and day – you really can’t go wrong with it. I think I’m on my fourth bottle!

Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka

This. is. so. strong. A bottle will last forever! It’s stunning, musky and very heady. I only wear this on an evening or in the winter, but whenever I do I get questions and compliments. Smells like a rich woman! Something I’m most certainly not…

Chanel Chance

I think Chance has to actually be my favourite perfume of all time. If I could only have one scent, I’d choose this. A stunning floral-y oriental, that keeps in line with the classic Chanel fragrance house collection. I’ve literally worn this for years, pretty much ever since it was released, and I will continue to purchase throughout my life.
