I LOVE, love love love little hauls like this. My favourite things ever to purchase are random beauty bits – complete new discoveries – and of course, always chocolate. Let’s start with the skincare bits first shall we… I already adore ByTerry, but I’ve never tried the All Over Oil – they had a really good 20% off site wide offer on on Black Friday, so I thought it was the perfect chance to try it – I’m so glad I did, it’s so luxurious, and smells amazing too. It’s a real treat, and I will be 100% repurchasing it when this one runs out.
I’m a bit obsessed with Korean skincare at the moment, and I’ve recently discovered the Gesgep brand; and I’m a little bit obsessed. It would be unfair of me to recommend the products I purchased just yet, as I simply haven’t used them for long enough; but I’m really enjoying testing them out right now, and I’m keen to discover more from the brand. I picked up their bare pads, and also a lip cotton – so far so good.
Every Christmas I love to purchase the Space NK Shimmering Spice candle, it’s one of my favourite Christmas scents; and it’s just a gorgeous little treat, that’s so warming and rich. Another repeat purchase was the Bobbi Brown primer – you don’t actually need a primer, in my opinion – but if you do like to use them, I find this one to be the best of the best.
To go with the primer, I thought I would finally… finally! treat myself to the Tan Luxe illuminating drops. These have been in my basket forever, and I’m constantly doing a should I, shouldn’t I? Again, I haven’t tested them for long enough to recommend just yet, but they did come highly recommended to me, so I’m expecting some good stuff.
Okay, onto chocolate and fashion! So I have a bit of a thing for luxury hot chocolate – I love buying and trying different brands, and it’s one of my favourite drinks ever, especially at this time of the year. So this week, I thought I’d treat myself and try the Melt London offering – and wow it’s good; so good, that I’ve just placed a huge chocolate haul order, which I shall share soon… oh dear! And then last but certainly not least, another Black Friday treat – this Bella Freud cashmere jumper that I have wanted for years – another one I have constantly added to and taken out of my basket, but finally the discount offer was just too good to resist, and I’m now the happy owner!
