The Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis

I’m having a bit of a moment with Louis Vuitton at the moment… I’m starting to get a bit obsessed. It’s a brand that if I’m honest I’ve never in the past been too interested in, as I find there are too many fakes (which I’m really against) and it’s also too logo-ish and in your face – but recently, I’ve really started gravitating towards some of the designs.

I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to find interest in the Pochette Metis, but wow… I’m glad I did. I get so many compliments on this bag, and I find that the style is very much me. I tend to wear it crossbody, but I have worn it on my shoulder, and also just held it by the top handle, for a dressier look. It’s really versatile in terms of wearability!

So let’s talk pros and cons. In all honesty, I really cant find any issues with this bag so far, although I’ll admit I’ve only used it a handful of times so far. The leather quality is excellent, and it’s such a hardwearing bag – if you look after a bag like this, it will literally last forever. It won’t sag and lose its shape either, due to the design. It also feels really, really secure to wear – it’s not a bag that someone else would be able to get into easily at all.

The bag really is huge inside – yet still manages to look compact, stylish and classic. It’s Louis Vuitton, but it isn’t in your face Louis Vuitton. I’m really not a fan of logos, but this design manages to incorporate that unmistakeable style – with a really understated class. The top handle for me, is also a genius addition – like I mentioned further up, it just adds something extra to the bag, that other camera styles don’t offer, and allows a bit of versatility in the way the bag can be  worn. I really do love this one, and it’s become a wardrobe essential for me – especially as we move into the colder months. It’s practical, trendy, classic, and also extremely comfortable to wear. A big yes from me.
