Sunday Riley Juno Essential Face Oil

Affiliate.pngHmm. This is a bit of a funny one… So, unless you were under a rock for the entirety of the last year, you’ll no doubt of heard of Sunday Riley. Everyone, and I mean everyone was raving about it, and you kind of couldn’t escape the hype; and so guess who bought into said hype? That’s right, me!

After milling it over, I decided Juno was best for me – the antioxidant, superfood face oil that promised to “rejuvenate dull, lack-lustre complexions and deliver an intense radiance boost to leave skin looking luminous”. £54 later, it was mine. Now, it may seem I’m a little late to the hype, actually, I’m not – I just wanted to use the entire bottle, before I gave it a completely honest review… and that took a while – but to be fair, at £54, so it should.

The oil boasts a range of wonder ingredients such as vitamin C, essential amino acids, omega-3, 6 and 9, natural UV shields and anti-inflammatory agents, and I applied that stuff waiting for an ethereal, youthful glow upon wakening… Honestly? My skin looked fine, nice in fact, plumped and healthy – as it should when you’ve treat your skin to a moisture hit; but was I left in awe, open mouthed at the mirror? Not really, no. Do I think it was worth £54? Not really, no. Will I purchase it again? More than likely not. I’ve used face creams and serums that are worth £54, sadly, this just wasn’t one of them. Is it a nice face oil? Yes, lovely, and should it have been perhaps half the price – I’d say it would be worth it. But it isn’t, and for that reason, it’s unfortunately not the one for me.
