Four of my Favourite Festive Candles

Yankee Candle Christmas Memories – If you could epitomise Christmas in one scent, this would be it. I purchase this large jar every single year and it lasts me the whole of December, burning it daily. Think Christmas spices, log fires, gingerbread, mulled wine – basically what it says on the jar – Christmas memories. If you only buy one candle for the festive season, I strongly suggest this one.

Sand + Fog Spiced Apple – Oh how pretty is this candle?! More of an Autumn / Winter purchase than specifically Christmas, but would work for Christmas alone too. A double wick candle that burns evenly, and gives off a lovely moderate scent – nothing too overpowering. Basically what the name suggests, but to me I also get the addition of spice. A stylish yet affordable addition to your home this Winter.

DW Home Peppermint Snow – Oh guys, this candle is the one. A super creamy candy-cane scent, I literally can’t stop picking it up and sniffing the jar. I also shove it in anyones face who walks in my house at the moment, and demand they smell it too (my boyfriend has had this inflicted on him a number of times now), I’m addicted. I picked this one up in Homesense for about Β£4, so get yourself over there. They sell alot of the DW Candles range, and I haven’t been disappointed in one yet.

DW Home Hickory – So I’m not 100% sure this is strictly a Christmas only candle… but it’s red and it goes with my Christmas decor, so I was having it. It’s most definitely a Winter scent though; think smoked log fires with a hint of fresh winter herb and it also has a wood wick. It looks super stylish in the home and lasts a rather generous amount of time. This was another one I picked up in Homesense, and I think it was only about Β£6.

  1. I love reading what candles people are loving. I’ve always got a candle burning when I’m at home and especially this time of year when it’s dark, they’re the perfect way to cosy up! Defo need to stock up on DW candles!

I can’t get enough of festive candles this time of year, these all sound lovely! My favourite is Winter by the White Company!
