A HUGE Lush Haul

My obsession with Lush has been reignited. Well, to be fair – it never really went away, but it’s been a good while since I did a huge haul of products from there; and since doing so I’ve become OTT excited about everything Lush, and want to go back and pick up MORE (I don’t need any more).

Last week, the lovely people at the Lush Leeds Spa invited me over to check out the new Karma treatment. You can read all about it in detail here, but it’s a pretty special experience. It combines meditation, a full body massage (done by two therapists at the same time) and some incredibly special Indian rituals to really balance and cleanse. Whilst I was there, I also had closed access to the shop, so some of the below products were gifted, and some were purchased.

Karma Bubble Bar – I actually ended up with two of these; the whole Karma treatment (above) is scented in a very similar way to the bubble bar, and by the end of my evening, I just couldn’t get enough of it. This is a product I’ve used quite a few times now; it’s such a sensual bubble bar – but be warned, you’ll be left with a lot of shimmer in the bottom of your tub.

Twilight Bath Bomb – Another one that I ended up with quite a few of, and I’m seriously pleased about that. Not one I’ve experienced until last week, it has the same hypnotising scent as the rather famous (due to it’s magical snooze enhancing properties) Sleepy body lotion, and has quite the same effect. I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather with an awful cold over the past week, so this has been perfect for relaxing and comforting me before bedtime.

Sleepy – My new favourite Lush product ever, this body lotion is just the dream. As mentioned above, it’s got a bit of a name for itself at the moment, as it’s apparently working miracles on peoples insomnia. Personally, I can’t comment on that as I’ve luckily never had a problem dropping off before – I think I could fall asleep anywhere, any time! – but what I will say is that it’s helped me feel so much more human this week, and really relaxed me before bed. So much so, that the day after taking this home; I went online and placed an order for another huge pot. I love it.

Twilight Body Spray – This leads us nicely onto the next product. Sharing the same mystical scent as the Sleepy body lotion, after applying it onto my skin the night I came home from the event, I knew I needed to get the body lotion too. Honestly guys, the scent of these products is out of this world. In all honesty I’m not usually drawn to any Lush body sprays or perfumes, but this one breaks the rule. It’s beautiful, and completely different to what anyone else is wearing. Please never discontinue this, Lush!

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar – I’ve a very sad feeling this product may be being discontinued. This is the first Lush product I ever tried and one I pick up every single time I’m in there. If that’s the case, I’ll be really upset and may find myself falling out with Lush. But not before I pop back into store and purchase a sack full of them!

Ultrabland – I’ve used this loads of times before, it’s such a great winter cleanser. It’s very thick, very balmy and very comforting. It’s unscented and very simple, but somehow manages to be super luxurious at the same time. A real treat for dry skin, and one I’ve come back to many a time.

Skin’s Shangri La – This would be the perfect summer moisturiser, but unfortunately it’s a little too thin for me, for the winter. I like a super thick moisturiser that I can really feel on my skin in the colder months. However, that’s not to say that it’s not a beautiful product. It’s packed with lots of nourishing oils and moisturising ingredients such as cocoa butter and beeswax. The scent is a little strange at first, but I can’t deny that it makes my skin feel extremely soft and smooth.

Helping Hands – This is the only hand cream that I tend to pick up time and time again. I always like to keep a pot of it on my bedside table, and try my hardest to remember to apply it every night before I go to sleep. It’s non greasy, simple – but lovely at the same time, and is ideal for keeping nearby in the winter months.

Lemony Flutter – I recently made the decision to stop getting acrylic on my nails, and this cuticle butter is helping breathe back some life into them and nurse them back to good health. The product smells like lemon cheesecake and can even be used on rough patches such as elbows etc. I’m not quite sure how Lush sell many of these pots mind, as once you purchase one; you’ll never need to buy another – seriously, this stuff lasts forever!

Ro’s Argan Conditioner – Ah the gorgeous scent of Rose Jam available all year round. Think of this like a hair conditioner, but for the body. You cover yourself in it pre shower, and come out with beautifully soft and supple skin. A firm Lush favourite for me.

The Comforter – The most generously sized bubble bar ever. This hot pink blend of cassis, bergamot and cypress essential oils treats you to a really nostalgic sweet scent; and produces oodles of bubbles. You’ll also get two, baths out of this one – bonus!

Marmalade Jelly Bomb – I’m yet to try this product, but I was given a demo of a jelly bomb in store. They’re so much more moisturising and silky than your standard bath bomb, this one smells so energising and instantly puts me in a good mood whenever I get a whiff

Magic Wand & Snow Fairy Body Conditioner – Because I obviously had to pick up some Christmassy bits too didn’t I. I’ve actually reviewed these products before here, and I’m delighted that they’ve made a return this year!
