As we are almost in the full midst of Autumn (my favourite time of the year), I thought I’d make some lovely chocolate apples to get in the spirit… and just look how pretty they turned out! These are perfect for giving as little gifts to friends, or just keeping in the fridge for a little indulgent – but not too naughty – treat. They’re also great if you want to have a little kitchen fun without too much hassle.
These chocolate apples are so simple to make, and you can be as creative as you like. I simply purchased a pack of cake pops, a bag of apples and two large bars of white & milk chocolate. I had some chopped hazelnuts lying around and also some chocolate stars. Simply melt down your chocolate of choice, dip the apples in, leave to set then enjoy decorating to your hearts content! No actual baking required and they go down just as well with children as they do with adults. Enjoy! x
