Benefit Dream Screen

With summer just around the corner, one of the most important aspects of our beauty routines is to consider is SPF for the face. Unless you want  to resemble a paper bag at the age of 40, it’s a good idea to invest in some decent sun protection.

That’s why I’ve really been doing my research on this one. I wanted a high quality cream for my face, but also something that would look after my skin and not clog my pores up, as I often find happens when I apply sunscreen that isn’t specifically designed for the face. That’s when I came across Benefit Dream Screen.

“You can’t feel it, you can’t see it… but it’s got you totally covered.” This stuff is fantastic, and I’m not sure if I can wait until my June holiday to use the rest up. Now, where do I begin? Dream Screen offers an impressive SPF 45, perfect for those who may burn easily in the sun. It’s almost odourless (making it ideal for sensitive skin), apart from the very subtle and very addictive smell of long, lazy holidays in the sunshine. It’s actually that nice, I couldn’t stop applying it to the back of my hand just to experience the scent some more. It’s got a rather convenient applicator nib (well thought out Benefit), ensuring that you don’t accidentally end up squeezing too much out  to rub in, and end up resembling a tropical yeti for the first hour of your day. Not ideal for the holiday pictures…

Please trust me when I say, Dream Screen is a very fitting name for this product… It makes my skin feel so, so, so silky and smooth – it’s incredible. It absorbs almost instantly and dries down to a matte, yet soft texture right away. I actually can’t get over how even and velvety it makes my skin feel. It would make the perfect primer too, and that’s exactly why I can’t wait for my holiday to use it again.

No grease, no clogged pores and the most amazing scent… Priced at £25.00 Benefit Dream Screen  really is your summer makeup bag must have, and I’m so glad I discovered it. Check it out here (free delivery) or here (price match offer on).

I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for this stuff. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Which is a bummer because I really want to try it. haha
Great post though, I’m glad you like it 🙂

I’m glad this works for you! The packaging is lovely!
My skin can’t handle chemical sunscreens so I’d skip this one. I use one from a Canadian brand: Lise Watier Sun Smart and it’s very silky too and makes a nice primer for my foundation.

I had a sample of this a while back and I loved it. I totally forgot about it until now, I wish I’d bought a larger one but it’s quite expensive

  4. This looks fabulous! I must save up to buy it for the summer. Thank you for sharing 🙂 x

This is the perfect post as things start warming up. I always wear sunscreen when I go out. I have just been using the same stuff all over but it sure does leave my face feeling greasy. I’m going to look into this!
